Overview

Price

The Estufa Real wedding coordinator gave us a few options of hotels close to the venue. We checked them out, saw that the quality we'd consider ran about $200/night and opened up a new tab for Airbnb. We looked into other options close to where we're staying and found a couple of places that ran around $100/night. If you want a better value, check out our Airbnb page.

Hotels we recommend

There aren’t many reasonably priced hotels close to the venue. We listed them underneath the first tab and listed some of the best ones close to where we’re staying on the second tab. Prices may vary, depending on where you book the room. All prices are shown in Euros.

Room block

We haven't reserved a block of rooms because they're few and pricey close to the venue but we're not closed to the idea. If you're interested in a particular hotel and would like us to reserve a block, please email us at zfichmanklein@gmail.com.

Our recommendations

People love the location but say the rooms in the hotel are a bit dated. Some of the guests, particularly in the front-facing rooms, complained of the street noise so we advise getting a room close to the back of the hotel.

It's definitely not the cheapest option but most people loved the experience. They raved about the location, the comfort of the beds, and the amount of space in the rooms. A few guests noted that they were disturbed by noise in their rooms close to the front desk.

This is around the corner from us! Most people enjoyed the breakfast, size of the rooms, and decor. A number of reviews noted that the hotel wasn’t close to public transportation and a few of the reviews reported air-traffic noise on the rooms that were rear-facing.

Altis is a local chain. These are the apartment-style rooms so it’s unsurprising that people like the room size. They also liked the location and customer service. They didn’t like the steep hill that you have to climb to get back after exploring the city and the small spaces in the parking lot if you have a car.

This is a cabaret themed hotel built over a cabaret bar with a show. Check out the pics before you stay! Everyone who stays here talks about the fabulous location and the helpful staff. The breakfast gets mixed reviews but we didn’t find many negatives.

People liked that rooftop balcony and pool, proximity to public transport, and modern feel. They complained about the average breakfast, the restriction the hotel places of having food on the roof-top, and the categorization of it as a 5-star hotel. Most people thought it deserved 4-stars.

The hotel consists of two renovated old buildings. People loved the views but noted that they were amazing because they were on a huge hill. The funicular is a good way to get up the hill but it stops operating at 8 pm. Reviewers also appreciated the feel of the rooms but noted that the walls were thin and they could hear people walking in the room above them.
